We are blessed with a dedicated group of young servers made up of boys and girls from our congregation, reflecting the rich diversity of our church family. They have been learning their roles with enthusiasm over the past months and take great pride in serving at the altar. Wearing their white robes, they help lead our worship by carrying the processional cross, swinging the thurible, holding the Gospel book, carrying candles as acolytes, and supporting at the Eucharist in the role of subdeacon. At the moment, our young servers team leads about once a month, and their presence changes the dynamic in the chancel, making it clear that the Mass is for everyone and that people of all ages have an important part to play in our worship.
